The National Art School (NAS) has been in the centre of Sydney’s art scene at its Darlinghurst location for almost a century, and has nurtured the talents of generations of artists, who have studied and worked in studios within the walls of the old Darlinghurst Gaol.

GETTING THERE

Trains: Kings Cross, Town Hall, Museum and Central stations are all located within 10-20 minutes' walk from the venue.
Buses: Conveniently located next to Taylor Square, NAS is a two minute walk from Oxford St bus stops.

Parking: Metered parking is available in adjacent streets. Daily rate parking is available at St Vincent's Hospital (enter on Victoria St) and Wilson Parking is also located at Forbes Street, Darlinghurst, a 9 minute walk to the NAS.

ACCESS

The National Art School Gallery is wheelchair accessible with no steps on the downstairs level and lift access to the upper gallery. There are also accessible toilets on site.
