Everyone’s favourite Meriton Festival Village is bigger and better than ever. It's the ultimate oasis of musical and theatrical delights, along with plenty of delicious eats, all in the heart of the city at Hyde Park. Kick back in the afternoons or kick on into the warm summer nights.

Drop by and get a taste of the Festival with ticketed music, comedy, cabaret and music theatre events in the Magic Mirrors Spiegeltent and enjoy free entertainment every day at our brand new outdoor venue, Village Stage presented by China Southern Airlines. Don't miss The Hair Salon, a non-stop variety show with live music, extravagant hair styling, comedy and cabaret featuring Leah Shelton, Lisa Fa'alafi, Bob Downe and DJ Sveta.

There's much to explore around the Village as well - dust of your skates and glide around the Archibald Fountain to live DJs every at Roller Jam every Saturday afternoon, get down at the famous Soul of Sydney parties each Sunday and explore the fascinating labyrinth of endless mirrors in House of Mirrors - the ultimate maze of optical illusions that needs to be seen to be believed.

Treat yourself to simple and robust Italian fare from Fratelli Fresh, creative Latin American tapas from Bodega's Cantina, fresh and contemporary Japanese cuisine from Saké, juicy burgers and fried chicken courtesy of Sydney institution Mary's and treats from Porteño Pie Shop.

Enjoy a tipple from one of our bars; there's beer and cider from Kirin and a variety of wines from James Estate.

Tuesday 24 January, 6.30pm - Orszaczky Budget Orchestra
A throwback tribute party full of Jackie’s soul-funk tunes and his arrangements of classics, truly worthy of both his memory and most of the leather on your dancing shoes.

Wednesday 25 January, 6.45pm - Alice Terry
With a multi-faceted voice that slides from gutsy Delta blues queen through to a powerful yet ethereal falsetto, Terry’s beautiful songs have deservedly earned her the title of 'Sydney’s first lady of blues'.

Thursday 26 January, 6.45pm - Eastern Empire
This multi-cultural and multi-talented cast of both classically trained and self-taught musicians and vocalists will transport you to a world of Indian dance and music with a touch of Bollywood, filled with explosive colour and sound.

Friday 27 January, 6.45pm - Los Tones
Combining old school psychotropic beats with hip grinding dance rhythms, this garage rock quartet hurl themselves around with abandon and offer a sound that is gloriously big and brash.

Saturday 28 January, 12.30pm - The Old School Funk Band
The Old School Funk Band bring the 60’s/70’s Blue Note era back for a party of earthy, soulful jazz. Grant Green, Jimmy Smith, Jack McDuff, Marvin Gaye, The Meters and Eddie Harris all get a look in. You never know who might sit in and what may happen.

Saturday 28 January, 6.45pm - Los Tones

Sunday 29 January, 6.30pm - Cumbiamuffin
The contagious, joyful rhythms of Latin American cumbia music is brought to life by this group of Colombian and Australian musicians. Think reggae, ragga and roots from the Caribbean – with a big band orchestra vibe.

Meriton Festival Village, Magic Mirrors Spiegeltent and Village Stage presented by China Southern Airlines are all wheelchair accessible. Priority entry for people with access needs.
