University of Technology Sydney is about collaborative futures. Curious thinkers, coming together to solve complex global problems. In January, two Big Thinking Forums at UTS will tackle big-picture issues. This is your chance to participate in innovative real-world solutions made by Sydneysiders.

Talking Culture is a forum inspired by Sydney Festival's Bayala: Let’s Speak Sydney Language project which celebrates the Indigenous heritage of Sydney and the growing movement to awaken local language. Speakers will explore the cultural action by communities to share Indigenous Knowledges on an everyday basis.

Speakers: Gadigal Elder Uncle Allen Madden, Sydney Festival Director Wesley Enoch, Bayala Language Teacher Aunty Jacinta Tobin, Professor Michael McDaniel, artist Jonathan Jones and Wiradjuri Elder Uncle Stan Grant. Moderator: Professor Larissa Behrendt.
