Krzysztof Soroczynski is joined onstage by members of Cirque Éloize and Patrick Nolan to discuss his role as Show Acrobatic Designer for iD including the creation of the ground-breaking Trampowall Act.

Soroczynski is an internationally recognised circus trainer, talent scout, acrobatic designer and casting agent. He has worked with Cirque du Soleil, Daniele Finzi Pasca – Director of La Verità (Sydney Festival 2016) – and Cirque Éloize. He began work with Cirque Éloize in 1999 to develop acrobatic acts for the show Excentricus. His subsequent credits with the company as an acrobatic designer include Cirque Orchestra, the Daniele Finzi Pasca Sky Trilogy: Nomade, Rain and Nebbia and more recently, iD and Cirkopolis directed by Jeannot Painchaud.

Patrick Nolan’s work with Legs On The Wall is well known to Sydney Festival audiences. His productions have been presented in major festivals, opera houses, theatres and on city streets. He is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Arts Directors Course and was Artistic Director of Legs On The Wall from 2009–2014.
