Lose yourself in the company of sailors, barmaids and bootleggers for a soulful, song-filled ode to gin, equal parts historical and hysterical.
From 18th Century London to Prohibition-era New York and onto the Australian bush and the jungles of Peru, Mother’s Ruin takes audiences on a tipsy tour of the classic cocktail staple.
In the midst of Australia’s gin renaissance, discover a little more about your favourite drop. Mother’s Ruin is a darkly comic history lesson created with research by gin expert, The Ginstress, featuring intoxicating renditions of numbers by Amy Winehouse, Nina Simone, Martha Wainwright, The Pretenders and more.
Note: The Meriton Festival Village is a licensed venue. Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
